Overview
Abhishek C George is a Singapore-based founder who arrived from India at sixteen and has been starting things ever since. Among them: The Spiffy Dapper, the Art Deco bar he opened in 2013; Sago House, which he co-founded with Jay Gray and Desiree Jane Silva during the 2020 lockdown; and Oriental Elixir, the experimental gin bar hidden inside the Dapper. Others run to glassware, third spaces, publishing and a bicycle brand still in prototype.
Alongside the businesses he writes and mentors founders — on building, on what the process actually looks like from the inside, and on what AI is doing to work and to value. His first book, What the Hell Is AI?, was published in 2026.
