Overview
Oriental Elixir is an experimental gin bar concealed inside The Spiffy Dapper at 294 River Valley Road — “a Tanglin Gin × Spiffy Dapper experiment”, in its own words. To find it, you walk into the Dapper and ask for the cabinet.
There is no menu. “Tell us what you like; we'll reach for the jars and make the drink from there.” The jars hold Tanglin gin sat with whatever the season offers, across botanical, savoury, sweet and spice. They rotate, and the cocktail list is rebuilt every day. As the bar puts it: there is no right way to order, and every drink starts as a conversation.
