Overview
Sago House is a cocktail bar on Duxton Hill, built by hand and opened in the middle of Singapore's 2020 lockdown by Jay Gray, Desiree Jane Silva and Abhishek C George. The bar puts it more bluntly than we would: “Built with our bare hands and opened in a pandemic. No investors or safety nets — just sweat, stubbornness, and a stupid amount of belief.”
The menu changes every week. The bar left its first home in Chinatown in October 2023 and carried on at 37 Duxton Hill, which it marks in its own way: “We got kicked out of our first home, but we are keeping the party going.”
