Overview
The Spiffy Dapper is an Art Deco cocktail bar at 294 River Valley Road, open every day from 6pm. It has been going since 2013 — “give or take a flood”, as the bar has it — after starting as a hole-in-the-wall in Boat Quay and spending several years in a room on Amoy Street.
Every drink on the list is named for a piece of 1920s slang, and each one, the bar says, is a small fable. It sums up its own approach as “three working theories: balance, structure, the process of art. Mumbo jumbo, but ours.”
